For 70 years, Pigeon has studied the mechanics of infant feeding to better understand how babies latch, suck, swallow, and breathe during feeding. Through collaborations with healthcare professionals and researchers, we investigate the physiological processes that support successful breastfeeding and apply these insights to the development of feeding solutions designed to support breastfeeding when supplementation or bottle feeding is needed.
